A truly wonderful example of a Victorian oak club elbow chair, stuffed-over leather upholstery, turned and fluted forelegs, ceramic casters, c.1880. The patina on the original polished frame and the wear to the leather provides real charm to the item. There are signs of age, various small knocks and marks as can be expected for its age, but nothing detrimental. This stylish and extremely comfortable chair looks fabulous as is, or could be re-upholstered accordingly.
