The design of the cup glorifies the art of winemaking: graceful gilded garlands of grapevine with bunches of grapes are harmoniously intertwined with figures of music-making nymphs, creating an atmosphere of antique sophistication. Rocaille motifs with winged horses and flowerpots add expressiveness and dynamics to the composition. The handles of the cup, designed in the form of a grapevine, create an effect of sculptural sophistication and refinement, echoing the aesthetics of the classicism style.
