george iv mahogany library/desk chair

Circa 1825. An attractive George IV leather upholstered mahogany library/desk chair. The curved top rail above a deeply buttoned leather back, with shaped and partially upholstered arms, terminating on scrolls with acanthus curved supports. A generous sized stuff-over seat finished with close brass nailing, all recently reupholstered traditionally. The shaped seat rail, back legs slightly out swept and supported on turned legs are the front with brass cups and castors.
