Circa 1920s. A pair of George III style mahogany ladder-back chairs, the
shaped and pierced cresting rail with three pierced rails beneath, the
curvaceous arms supported on shaped uprights, the drop in upholstered seat
with simple seat rail, back legs are square and slightly out swept, the
front legs are square with a small chamfer on the inside, all braced by

Georgian Antiques was founded in 1978 by John Dixon's brother Padriac in a small shop at Jocks Lodge, Meadowbank in Edinburgh, with John joining the business after finishing college in 1981.
