Circa 1860. 19th-century rattan wicker-upholstered Anglo-Indian hardwood planters chair. The arched back with geometric rattan upholstery flanked by two long arms and a long concave seat. The arms with swing-out extensions to the front to hold a tray. All supported on ring-turned tapering front legs and rectangular rear legs. Some very slight Imperfections to the wicker work that is fully sturdy.

Georgian Antiques was founded in 1978 by John Dixon's brother Padriac in a small shop at Jocks Lodge, Meadowbank in Edinburgh, with John joining the business after finishing college in 1981. Scotland's largest antiques warehouse is located in a converted whiskey bond in historic Leith Edinburgh.
