      This is an antique, Victorian, black lacquered, pie crust tea table dating to c.1900.

      Raised on cabriole legs with golden decoration to the knees and terminating in pad feet, the serpentine frieze is delineated with golden trace punctuated with stylised foliate detail.

      The pie crust top beautifully frames the typical oriental scene painted on in layers giving relief to the image featuring figures, trees and building.

      Displaying an aged patina with solid joints and construction, delivered ready for the home.
