      • Pleasingly presented antique wheel with nautical appeal
      • Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order
      • Eye-catchingly polished bronze presents warm golden tones
      • Turned oak handles show fine grain interest, topped with small bronze caps
      • Rotating upon the plinth mount, the centre boss secured with stout clamp

      • Embodies the sinuous, inlaid splendour of late 18th century Dutch craftsmanship

      • Rich ember hues present in the stocks and the later upholstered cushion
      • Arched top rail crowned with a scrolled back rest
      • Typical of this period, the vase splat decorated with inlaid foliate detail
      • Serpentine beech arms narrow at the rounded knuckle, with swept supports
      • Drop-in seat with quality velour upholstery, issuing a flowerhead pattern
