A superb quality Edwardian Sheraton revival inlaid rosewood desk. c1900.This very pretty ladies desk with an abundance of elegant neoclassical inlaid motifs.A brand new quality inset green leather writing surface with gold tooled decoration.Mahogany lined drawers of fine dove-tail construction. Original gilt brass handles, with all locks and escutcheons present.Standing on square tapering legs with spade feet.Wonderful rich figuring and colour to the rosewood.In excellent antique condition. Strong, solid and sturdy.The dimensions are.Height-94.3cm to the top of the brass gallery. Height to top of desk-75cm.
