set of 8 mahogany edinburgh dining chairs

Circa 1815 and later, set of 8 mahogany dining chairs. Six of the chairs are original Regency period, and two later armchairs circa are 1920s. The chairs follow a classic Edinburgh style, as seen in the Directory of Edinburgh furniture, with their distinctive carved back. All the chairs stand on reeded sabre legs. The pair of armchairs have scrolling arms which are carved and reeded. All the chairs have drop in leather covered seats. Stylish, clean and functional.

Armchairs 86cm high x 50cm wide x 55cm deep.
Side chairs 86cm high x 48cm wide x 47cm deep.Most items include delivery anywhere in the UK mainland.
