Circa 1930s. Very unusual stylish pair of carved walnut marble and gilded bedside pedestals, the tops with green mottled marble insert with a gilded frame mirror to the back, with etching on the mirror and gilded pierced frame with foliate carving, the front with a full-length drawer which is profusely carved with foliate carving which continues around the sides, beneath this a panel door flanked by a pair of Corinthian columns with carved capitals and bases, beneath with foliate carving on the front and sides, framed with a simple beading, resting on square legs at the back with a pair of carved turned and fluted legs to the front.
