Circa 1840 and later, magnificent George III style four door breakfront cabinet bookcase (adapted from a William IV wardrobe). The top has classical fretwork double horn top, below is stylish but simple Greek key cornice, and below this are four doors with stylish curved astragals. Inside there are several adjustable shelves and some slides and drawers. The base has 4 enclosed cupboards with flamed mahogany panels and the bookcase stands on an enclosed plinth. This bookcase has been adapted but is a wonderful piece of stylish functional furniture, a fraction of the price of an original.
