old pine larder cupboard with drawers (j4501d)

Here’s a lovely old pine larder cupboard dating from around 1900. It features a single door on the right-hand side and four drawers running down the left. The piece is currently in bare wood, having been stripped recently, and is in very nice condition for its age. It appears to have had a new plinth fitted at some point in its life.

Each drawer has a central wooden knob, and the cupboard door retains its original metal ventilation grille. The door is mounted on French-style external hinges, allowing it to open almost fully for easy access.Inside, there’s a shallow shelf at the top and two full-depth shelves below. These are fixed and function well as they are. All the drawers slide smoothly. When the door is closed, it also secures the drawers; however, this can be adjusted so the drawers remain accessible even when the door is shut, if you’d prefer.Price: £610 as it is, or £697 if you’d like it waxed.Dimensions: height 56.5", width 37.5", depth 15"
