This is a set of four antique dining chairs. An English, elm and beech spindle back kitchen seat, dating to the early 20th century, circa 1920.

• Wonderfully versatile chairs with a traditional country house appearance
• Displaying a desirable aged patina and in good original order
• Quality elm and beech stocks show fine grain interest
• Light biscuit hues enchant with an appealing natural finish

• Bowed top rail supported by a pair of uprights with turned spindles inside
• Striking shaped splat with pierced fretwork completes the supportive back rest
• Charming saddle seat anatomically shaped at a comfortable height of 44.5cm (17.5’’)

• Presence of the George VI crown audit mark adorns the rear of the seat squab
• Standing upon a quartet of turned and splayed legs with peg feet
• Each leg united with a tapered H-stretcher rail
