Circa 1890. A good George III style mahogany inlaid two door glazed floor standing bookcase. The mahogany top with double boxwood banding, moulded edge, and frieze with similar inlay. Two glazed doors with classical Georgian style astragals and beveled edge glass. Inside the bookcase is polished and there are three adjustable shelves, each side of the door there is double string inlay, forming a mock pilaster. Beneath the bottom doors there is a shaped inlaid frieze and the bookcase rests on a combination of plinth and bracket feet.
