george ii style burr walnut bookcase on stand

Circa 1900, George II style burr and figured walnut bookcase on stand. With a moulded cornice over two arched astragal glazed doors with burr walnut panels enclosing a shelved interior. The base with a moulded fore-edge has cedar lined cross banded drawers with brass drop handles over a beaded shaped apron. All supported on ringed baluster turned legs with crinoline stretcher over bun feet.

Their goal has been to create a one-stop-shop where designers can complete an entire project from antique lighting to antique furniture to accessories. Scotland's largest antiques warehouse is located in a converted whiskey bond in historic Leith Edinburgh. With 50,000sq ft over five floors we offer a wide range of quality Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian furniture, as well as continental and small decorative items. Our stock is constantly changing.
