This good quality Antique Victorian Oak Desk Chair has recently been professionally re-upholstered in chestnut hide and trimmed with brass studding.
The chair has a 'horse shoe' shaped back with raised deep padded back support. The supporting spindles are well turned with the front spindles having fluted and beaded decoration.
The chair has a very attractive shaped generous and comfortable sprung seat with brass studs along the front edge.
The front legs are well turned with fluted and beaded decoration. the rear legs are swept outwards and all four legs terminate in brass and brown ceramic cup castors.
This is a very substantial and comfortable antique desk chair which would suit any antique desk library.
Condition: This most attractive antique chair has been professionally restored, the timbers have been cleaned and wax polished and the chair has been professionally re-upholstered.
