Circa 1900, a Regency style mahogany framed Bergère chair. The mahogany frame chair with its fine caned back, panels beneath the arm rests and seat. The top rail which is curved and shaped continues down and forms a spread for the arm rests, these arms continue and finish with a curved section on the front with c-scrolling. There's a squab cushion for the back and the seat and the seat. There's a polished rail on all sides, the neat sized chair stands on 4 elegant turned and cannon barrel shaped tapering legs with further ring turning beneath and a brass bessel and brass casters at the base. The bergère chair is in excellent condition good colour and patination.
