A Regency period brass inlaid rosewood pedestal sofa table, this table has a truly exceptional original surface and colour. The top has two lines of brass string inlay which include motifs in the corners. The two brass inlaid drawers are at the front with dummy drawer fronts at the back. The table stands on a pedestal base with four shaped legs terminating in the original castors. Sizes: 36"wide(closed), 58"wide(open), 28"deep, 28"high. Date: circa 1820.
