Circa 1880, pair of carved walnut French fauteuil chairs in the Rococo style, with a stylish heraldic shaped deep buttoned back with a hand carved top rail. There are two carved arms with small padded sections and a scrolling front. There is a large shaped stuff over seat and below this is a carved apron similar to the top of the chair, all standing on carving cabriole legs. The chairs are upholstered in a wonderful yellow fabric in good condition.
