Circa 1860. Two-part, neat-sized Victorian mahogany brass-bound military chest. The top in a lovely, figured mahogany with brass strapping and brass corners above two short and one long deep drawer in the upper section, all with ash drawer linings (sign of quality) and inset brass military handles, and brass escutcheon and locks. The lower section with two long drawers. All supported on neat turned feet. In lovely condition with a nice mellow colour and lovely patina.
