Circa 1890, large carved oak hall bench. The tall back is surmounted by a moulded top and a foliate carved frieze which has 3 finely carved panels. There are foliate decorations at the sides and central heraldic carvings. The acanthus carved arms terminate in lion heads over blocked supports and it has a foliate carved seat with gadroon moulded edge which opens to generous storage. Below this are panelled sections with carved frames to the front and sides and it is all on an enclosed plinth base.
