An elegant Edwardian inlaid mahogany single wardrobe of pleasing proportions, displaying well-figured veneers throughout. The wardrobe is surmounted by a moulded cornice incorporating a finely inlaid frieze, positioned above a central mirrored door flanked by beautifully bookmatched mahogany panels with delicate inlaid stringing.
The interior offers practical storage, fitted with a hanging rail above two full-width drawers. The drawers retain their original brass handles and are set above a plinth base, giving the piece a strong and balanced appearance.
Presented in good antique condition, with light wear and surface marks commensurate with age and use, this wardrobe is both attractive and highly functional, well suited to a bedroom or dressing room setting.
