This fabulous Italian chair, from the period of the Spanish Succession, boasts an intricate and decorative carving on the back support, and front stretcher panel, featuring floral designs throughout. The front stretcher panel is flanked by two turned legs, where the rear legs are squared, and sit either side of a simpler stretcher. The high back makes for an imposing piece, and is a wonderful statement piece for a hallway, bedroom or study. Period: Circa 1690 - 1710Measurements: W63cm x D64cm x H120cm | W25in x D25in x H47in
