Circa 1860. Set of 8 mid Victorian mahogany dining chairs, consisting on 6 side chairs and a pair of armchairs, the pair of stylish carvers with curvaceous backs with leather infill, with pierced foliate carving on the base, the curved arms upholstered in leather with scrolling terminus supported on a foliate carved upright, all of the chairs with original leather upholstered seats, the serpentine fronts with a simple beading and foliate carving to the center, the back legs are slightly out-swept, the fronts on elegant cabriole legs, finished on a well-carved foot, all in excellent condition with wonderful colour and patination.
