    Antique ANTIQUE VICTORIAN MAHOGANY REGENCY STYLE SOFA C1880 W7116/15.10

    Lovely Antique Victorian Mahogany Regency Style Scroll arm Flat Back Sofa and dating from around 1880. Constructed from quality mahogany it has a deep mahogany show frame with arched back and lovely deep scroll arms carved with acanthus leaf and with a deep padded back and stuff over seat above a wide mahogany skirt with carved patera to each end and standing on scrolled legs. Covered in a neutral floral quality fabric in good condition but we feel this would look fabulous recovered in a Regency stripe or pale cream.

     
    Measures: 38" high x seat height 18" x 24" deep x 77" wide (6ft.5")
     
    In very good condition with a lovely deep colour and patination to the mahogany and oozing all the charm and character of the period.
