Antique Carved Oak Coffer

A charming antique oak coffer, dating from the late 17th to early 18th century. The front is richly decorated with twin arched panels flanked by carved pilasters and detailed with foliate motifs, all beneath a row of carved lunettes. The plank top opens to reveal spacious storage, making it both decorative and functional. With its deep colour, patina, and traditional form, this piece exemplifies early English craftsmanship and would sit beautifully in a hallway, living room, or period interior.
