This is a lovely antique French upholstered, paint and gilt sofa from the late 19th century. The original upholstery is in good condition for it's age but could always be replaced with a fabric of your choice. The original paint and gilt has worn over time to give the sofa that lovely aged look and feel. The frame is good and solid.
