Circa 1870. A quality mid-Victorian walnut occasional table stamped ‘John Taylor of Edinburgh.’ The octagonal top with good colour and a simple moulded fore-edge, to the underside there is a small pull-out candle slide. The table rests on four stylish faux bamboo tapering legs intersected by cruciform stretchers, finishing on four downward swept feet finishing with a brass cup and original white porcelain castors beneath.
