Circa 1890, very stylish Victorian ash dressing table with a heraldic shaped mirror held in position by 2 turned and tapering fluted columns, on a very stylish bracket which follows the shape of the mirror. There is a large flat surface with a moulded edge and rippled ash giving a lovely colour and style. Below this is 1 long drawer and on left and right 2 short drawers with cast brass handles and ash liners. There are quarter brackets at the top of each of the legs, and panelled gables. The legs are turned, tapering and fluted finishing on brass castors. Wardrobe and chest of drawers to match also available.

Georgian Antiques was founded in 1978 by John Dixon's brother Padriac in a small shop at Jocks Lodge, Meadowbank in Edinburgh, with John joining the business after finishing college in 1981. The business grew so rapidly, they couldn't keep up with their inventory needs. Their goal has been to create a one-stop-shop where designers can complete an entire project from antique lighting to antique furniture to accessories. Scotland's largest antiques warehouse is located in a converted whiskey bond in historic Leith Edinburgh. With 50,000sq ft over five floors we offer a wide range of quality Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian furniture, as well as continental and small decorative items. Our stock is constantly changing.
