...........................................................................Description:SUPERB GEORGIAN REVIVAL ASTRAGAL GLAZED FLAME MAHOGANY BOOKCASE DISPLAY CABINETA beautiful quality piece which is attributed to: 'Bevan Funnel, Reprodux' who were fine cabinets makers who specialised in recreating quality Georgian & Regency furniture.The piece is of a lovely manageable size, having a moulded cornice which rises above the 3 beautiful Astragal Glazed display doors, revealing once opened 3 solid mahogany adjustable book shelves in each section, 3 mirrored back panels, 3 original locks, 3 original lock escutcheons and and the original fulling working key.The lower section having 3 generous sized cupboard doors, all of which are book match veneered in flame mahogany, revealing once opened a single adjustable storage shelf in each, retaining the 3 original locks, 3 original lock escutcheons and a fully working key.The piece separates in to two sections for ease of transportation and installation.It is offered in overall first class original condition throughout apart from a couple of minute marks to the leading edge of the lower section but one must look very hard to spot this!This is a beautiful looking piece with magnificent looking astragal glazed display doors.
