Circa 1830, miniature mahogany chest of drawers in the form of a spice cupboard. The long rectangular polished top has a flat edge and tapered moulding beneath, over a crossbanded frieze with flame mahogany. Beneath this are nine drawers with small ribbed, turned knob handles which are probably bone with one or two variations. Below the bottom drawer is an ogee moulding and the whole piece stands on four turned, bun feet. Stylish kitchen accessory.
