Circa 1870, mid Victorian mahogany two door cabinet bookcase. The stylish cornice has flamed mahogany veneers and nice ogee mouldings. On the top is two glazed doors with rounded corners and carved corbels on the top and similar on the base. Inside are 3 adjustable shelves with a raised facing. Beneath the top section is a large flat surface and a full length ogee drawer. Below this are 2 panelled doors with wonderful flame mahogany panels, opening to show 2 sliding trays and an open section beneath. All standing on an enclosed plinth. Excellent colour and good size.
