Circa 1860, exhibition quality mid Victorian burr walnut octagonal shaped centre table. The top is inlaid with a central foliate design and has amboyna crossbanding with boxwood string inlay. Below this is a simple apron with double inlay, and 4 turned fluted and tapering uprights, on a circular base with a tall carved finial on the top and another carved finial underneath. All standing on cabriole legs with amboyna inlay finishing on carved toes with white porcelain castors. Excellent colour and condition.
