Circa 1870. A profusely carved Flemish oak dolphin table, the top with canted corners, moulded and carved fore-edge, the frieze with carved lion heads on each corner, a full length drawer on the front with scroll and a shaped handle, the back is finished with similar carving, resting on four carved circular tapering legs on a platform base, braced by a profusely carved stretcher with finials between the uprights, supported on four carved and entwined mythical sea dolphins, with the heads forming the feet braced by the scaled bodies.
