A Fine Georgian Tan Leather Trunk
At about 200+ years old this is exactly the type of piece I take great pleasure in finding!
- it has charm, character and an indefinable beauty that comes from age and loving use.

Beautifully patinated leather to top and all 4 sides. Close nailed with domed brass nails to all margins.
Nailed initials to top - RM.
Original Lock Plate, and Iron carrying Handles. Would probably date to the early years of the 19th century
Old blue paper lining over even earlier newspaper.Some old wormholes. Dry and no longer active.Measurements 61.5cm x 33cm x 38cm high
