This is a large antique morning room cabinet. An English, mahogany and glass country house side cupboard, dating to the early Victorian period, circa 1840.

• Fine craftsmanship and unusual in this proportion and style
• Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order
• Select stocks present fine grain interest throughout the cabinet
• Rich caramel hues beam beneath a wax polish finish

• Low back stand accentuates the upper, ideal for vases or photo frames
• Pair of glazed doors with broad cockbeaded frames and scrolled mounts
• Right-hand door dressed with an inset, working lock — key with tassel present
• Left-hand cabinet benefits from a display shelf to the interior

• Deeper lower cabinet with two large panel doors, adorned with relief carvings
• Generously sized interiors in clean, original order
• Door dressed with a a small circular brass lock escutcheon — in working order, key present
• Raised upon a continuous plinth foot at the front and sides, bracket feet to rear
