An unusual stylish burr walnut Queen Anne style cabinet/ drinks cabinet on stand, the polished top in quarter matching figured burr-walnut with curved fore-edge, the front with a pair of burr walnut doors in quarter matching burr with large pierced and engraved strap hinges and two elaborate escutcheons with working lock and stylish cast brass knob handle, fitted out with a variety of shelves and slides, resting on a stylish base with a concave section with dragooned carved fore-edge, with a full-length drawer beneath with cast brass pierced swan neck handles with elegant back plates,
all resting on a pair of elegant foliate carved cabriole legs to the front, braced by an elaborate pierced foliate stretcher, back legs braced by turned stretchers and finishing on the front with a curled foot with bun feet beneath, with great colour, style and elegance.

Georgian Antiques was founded in 1978 by John Dixon's brother Padriac in a small shop at Jocks Lodge, Meadowbank in Edinburgh, with John joining the business after finishing college in 1981. The business grew so rapidly, they couldn't keep up with their inventory needs. Scotland's largest antiques warehouse is located in a converted whiskey bond in historic Leith Edinburgh. With 50,000sq ft over five floors we offer a wide range of quality Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian furniture, as well as continental and small decorative items. Our stock is constantly changing.
