This is a large antique moon vase. A Chinese, ceramic decorative flower urn with hand-painted decoration, dating to the Qing dynasty during the late Victorian period, circa 1900.
- Ornate and of distinctive moon form - a treat for display
- Displaying a desirable aged patina and in good order
- Golden ground with profuse foliate decorations of Famille Rose pattern
- Large court scenes decorate each fascia, with detailed figures
- Unusual gilt finished vestigial handles adorn the narrow neck
- Character mark to the naturally weathered base
This is a striking antique moon vase, graced with excellent colour and highly detailed throughout. Delivered polished and ready to showcase.
