Circa 1890, Sheraton style inlaid rosewood breakfront bookcase of exhibition quality. With well shaped astragal bars to the 4 upper glazed sections and the door frames are inlaid with garlands, harebells, with inlaid oval paterae at escutcheon level. The frieze has inlaid roundels and vertical bars and is surmounted by a dentil cornice. The two side doors to the base have arched panels with exquisitely inlaid Neoclassical urns, surrounded by garlands. The centre doors have oval ebonised panels with delicate floral inlay in exotic woods and contain hand-painted neoclassical style heads wearing garlands, all standing on an inlaid enclosed base with ebonised mouldings.
