george iv mahogany work table

Circa 1825, George IV mahogany work table in the form of a miniature Pembroke table. The solid mahogany top has ribbed fore edges, below this are 2 flaps again with similar moulding on the edges. Both the flaps have rounded corners and are held in place by two wooden arms. On one side are two small drawers, one fitted, with knob handles. The other side are two dummy drawers. The whole piece stands on very elegant unusual turned and tapering legs finishing on brass cup castors.
