Circa 1820, George IV mahogany neat sized Pembroke table, with ribbed and ebonised fore edges. The table is freestanding with 2 small flaps which can be supported by a wooden undercarriage. On the front side is a long single drawer with ebony inlay, large brass escutcheon and 2 cast brass handles. On the back is a similar but dummy drawer. The table stands on 4 elegant turned legs which are ribbed and finish on brass tipped porcelain castors.
