george iii style mahogany serving table

Circa 1900, exhibition quality George III style mahogany breakfront serving table. The plum pudding mahogany veneered top has wonderful thick carved fore edge with scrolling interconnected flower heads, above a further carving of leaves, beading and a deep ribbed apron. The table stands on six stylish, substantial legs with a carved beading and flower heads at the top, over swags on three sides and a tapering flowers. The fore edge is beaded on all sides, and the leg finishes on a spread block foot. Great colour and condition.

Scotland's largest antiques warehouse is located in a converted whiskey bond in historic Leith Edinburgh. With 50,000sq ft over five floors we offer a wide range of quality Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian furniture, as well as continental and small decorative items. Our stock is constantly changing.
