Circa 1800, impressive George III mahogany bureau bookcase, the dentil moulded cornice above a blind fret carved frieze and pair of doors with shaped glazed panels and carved beadings, opening to shelves; the lower part with the bureau in heavy figured Spanish mahogany opening to an interior fitted with drawers and pigeon holes, over four graduated long drawers with brass bale handles, all standing on carved ogee bracket feet. Lovely colour and patina.
