Sn2984 Exceptional Sheraton Revival, mahogany bureau bookcase, having inlaid swan neck pediment with pateras to top, satinwood crossbanded frieze above a pair of astragal glazed door, enclosing 3 height adjustable shelves. The base having fan inlaid and crossbanded cylindrical fall, which opens to reveal pigeon holes, small drawers, pen tray, inkwell and blue leather writing surface, all fitted with original brass knobs and 3 graduated and crossbanded drawers, all raised on original, bracket feet. This antique bookcase has been sympathetically restored and it retains its original finish. c1900
