Circa 1870, Biedermeier mahogany chest of drawers, the solid top with a small gallery at the back and simple fore edge above 5 drawers in pairs, and a cupboard on the bottom left hand with a faux drawer front. Each of the drawers have flame mahogany veneered facings and stylish turned knob handles. The dividers between the drawers are half round and proud. There is a carved section at the top of the pilasters which continues down to finish on cabriole feet at the front. There is shaped apron on the front and sides. The chest has oak lining and solid gables.
