This is an antique taxidermy specimen dome. An English, glass and ebonised beech tall showcase, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1900.

• Well proportioned Victorian dome, ideal for displaying medium-tall exhibits
• Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order throughout
• Quality glass presents a clear, bright view to the interior
• Dressed with a distinctive textured cushion pad in an attractive tan hue
• Ebonised pine base with tiered edge, sealing against the glass
• The dome raised upon a trio of squat bun feet
