This is an antique tallboy. An English, mahogany and oak chest of drawers, dating to the Georgian period, circa 1790.

• Wonderfully figured and presenting fine colour
• Displaying a desirable aged patina throughout
• Select stocks show fine grain interest and rich russet hues
• Substantial drawer fronts at a thickness of 2.5cm (1'') with oak drawer boxes
• Graced with appealing canted corners in the Georgian tradition

• Arranged as two upper drawers over three graduated, full width drawers
• Each dressed with brass drop handles over circular backs and an inset lock escutcheon — key absent
• Pleasingly clean drawer boxes benefit from the bountiful grain interest of English oak
• Standing upon delightful ogee bracket feet to each corner

This is a superb antique chest of drawers, graced with striking grain interest and quality polished finished in caramel hues. Solid joints and construction, delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.
