Superb Pair Antique Regency Mahogany Astragal Glazed Bookcases and dating from aorund 1820. Constructed from quality mahogany they have a moulded edge to the top above a cross banded frieze and with a full length astragal glazed door with later brass handles. Internally there are three adjustable shelves and they stand on a plinth base on bracket feet.

Each Bookcase measures: 47" high x 12" deep x internal depth 9.5" x 24" wideIt is rare to find such a superb pair of bookcases of quality mahogany and both with a lovely deep colour and original patination to the mahogany and in very good condition oozing all the charm and character of the period.
