A delightful piece of excellent colouration & patina and made during the 1920's - 1930's using 18th & 19th century period materials including Oak, mahogany and period wobbly glass panels.The bookcase top has a magnificent period patination, the top being made of a period rich Oak panel and risesabove 4 glazed doors, all of which have old period glass panels except one which appears to be a recent replacement.The display doors open to reveal a period Oak lined interior with wonderful primitive Oak bookshelves.The handles appear to be made of a bakelite type material, typically Art-Deco in style, the whole of which is raised upon 4 sturdy Queen Anne legs with pad feet.The pieces screams primitive charm & quality. It is both strong and sturdy and offered in overall lovely original condition.
