A Georgian walnut standing mirror with a well shaped and moulded frame which retains all its old character and colour. This may well have originally been a hanging wall mirror but at some time in the distant past it has been adapted into a standing mirror with an oak support added to the back, it now makes a very attractive standing dressing mirror, particularly suited to go on a Georgian chest or table. The glass has been replaced. Sizes: 16”wide, 25”high. Date circa 1740.
